Third-Largest BASF Site Globally Would Be Built in Guangdong

巴斯夫正在广东省考察建立一个高度一体化的化学品生产基地的可能性。双方日前在德国柏林共同签署非约束性合作谅解备忘录。

BASF is investigating the possibility of building a highly-integrated “Verbund” chemical production site Guangdong. Both signed a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding in Berlin.

广东一体化基地将是巴斯夫最大的投资项目,由巴斯夫独立运营。整个项目将于2030年左右完工,项目投资总额预计将达到100亿美元。第一批装置最晚将于2026年竣工。

The Verbund site in Guangdong would be BASF’s largest investment and would be operated under the sole responsibility of BASF. The investment is estimated to reach up to US$10 billion by completion of the project around 2030. The first plants could be completed by 2026 at the latest.

项目一期包括石油化学品装置作为完善的一体化体系的核心。一套计划年产能为100万吨乙烯的蒸汽裂解装置会作为新一体化基地价值链的开端。

In the initial phase, the BASF project would include petrochemical plants – the heart of the well-established Verbund system. A steam cracker with a planned capacity of 1 million metric tons of ethylene per year would be the starting point of the value chains at the new integrated site.

项目建成后将成为继德国路德维希港、比利时安特卫普后巴斯夫全球第三大一体化生产基地。

The site would ultimately be the third-largest BASF site worldwide, following Ludwigshafen,Germany, and Antwerp,Belgium.

在新基地,巴斯夫将采用尖端技术,全面落实智能制造理念。未来,这一高科技一体化基地将为华南地区的客户提供产品和服务。

At the new site, BASF intends to implement a comprehensive smart manufacturing concept based on cutting-edge technologies. In the future, customers based in South China would be supplied from this high-tech Verbund site.

宝马携手百度推进自动驾驶技术发展

BMW and Baidu Join Forces to Accelerate the Development of Autonomous Driving

宝马集团与百度近日在柏林宣布,双方签署谅解备忘录。根据这份谅解备忘录的内容,宝马集团将作为理事会成员加入阿波罗(Apollo)开放平台。

The BMW Group and Baidu, Inc. recently announced in Berlin that they have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), under which the BMW Group will join Apollo, the open autonomous driving platform by Baidu, as a board member.

此次谅解备忘录的签署也是宝马集团和百度近期在网联车领域合作之后的再次携手,标志着百度与宝马集团在推动自动驾驶生态系统建设领域的合作进展到更深入的层面。

The announcement, which follows on the heels of a recent collaboration between the two companies on connected vehicles, marks the next level of Baidu’s and the BMW Group’s partnership in advancing the autonomous driving ecosystem.

宝马集团目前正在开发自动驾驶平台能够实现3级到4级甚至5级的自动驾驶技术,同时还能为处于2级的高级驾驶辅助系统提供技术解决方案。

The BMW Group is developing an autonomous driving platform with technology solutions for Level 3 to Level 4/5 , as well as for advanced driving assistance systems (Level 2).

这个可拓展的自动驾驶解决方案是通过与科技行业和汽车行业的多个合作伙伴共同协作的结果。为了这个领先的概念,合作伙伴们都贡献了技术、资源和知识产权资产。

This scalable autonomous driving solution is being developed with technology and OEM partners that contribute knowledge, resources and intellectual property assets for a state-of-the-art concept.

西门子与中国航发签署战略合作协议

Siemens Signs Strategic Cooperation Agreement with AECC

西门子与中国航空发动机集团有限公司(中国航发)在德国柏林签署战略合作框架协议,将在数字化制造领域展开全面合作。

Siemens signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with Aero Engine Corporation of China (AECC) in Berlin, to jointly launch comprehensive cooperation in the field of digital manufacturing.

根据协议,双方将进一步加强合作,提高航空发动机的研发、制造和测试水平,并在增材制造、复材加工、机器人、工业物联网等高新科技领域进行深入合作。

According to the agreement, the two parties will further strengthen cooperation to enhance the research and development, manufacturing and testing level of aero engines, as well as in-depth cooperation in high-tech fields such as additive manufacturing, composites manufacturing, robotics, and industrial internet of things.

在此基础上,双方将进一步探索基于数字化模型的系统工程、虚拟仿真、协同研发、车间信息系统,以及数字化双胞胎等先进技术的深入应用。

On this basis, the two parties will further explore advanced technology including systems engineering based on digital models, virtual simulation, collaborative Ramp;D, shop floor IT system and digital twin.

此外,西门子将协助中国航发建立具备“工业4.0”水平的智慧研发和智能制造顶层规划、建设智慧院所与智能制造工厂示范试点,并开展技术交流与培训认证。

In addition, Siemens will work with AECC to develop a top-level framework for intelligent Ramp;D and smart manufacturing on the level of “Industrial 4.0”, construct pilot demonstrations of smart institute and intelligent factory, as well as carry out technological exchanges and training certification.

西门子大中华区首席执行官赫尔曼表示,“西门子与中国航发面向数字化时代建立战略合作,将把双方历史悠久的合作伙伴关系提升到新的高度、拓展到更广领域。”

“The strategic cooperation formed with AECC today is oriented towards the age of digitalization, and will upgrade the long-term partnership between the two companies to a higher level and a wider scope,” said Lothar Herrmann, CEO Siemens Greater China.

全球50强消费品企业通过并购推动增长

欧晰析企业管理咨询公司最近发布报告指出,全球50强消费品巨头在 2017 年的并购活动活跃,较上年增加了 45%,达到过去15 年来的最高位。

The number of mergers and acquisition deals among the top 50 global consumer goods giants reached a 15-year high in 2017 – a 45% increase from the previous year.

欧晰析的年度全球 50 强报告审视了世界最大消费品企业的财务业绩;中国 20 强快消品企业报告则追踪了国内收入最高的 20 家上市快消品企业,其中大多属于餐饮行业。

This is according to OCamp;C Strategy Consultants’ annual Global 50 report which examines the financial performance of the world’s largest consumer goods companies and the firm’s China Top 20 FMCG report which tracks fast-moving consumer goods companies based in China with the 20 highest listed revenues, most of which fall within the Food amp; Drinks sector.

除了典型的并购路线,全球 50强企业亦增加了对创新产业的收购和风险投资,以迎合不断转变的消费者行为,把握新兴数码科技的潜力。

Beyond the typical Mamp;A routes, the Global 50 have increasingly been investing in innovation, both via acquisitions and venture funding, in response to changing consumer behaviour and the potential of new digital technologies.

报告分析认为,大型快消品企业在推动增长方面遇到挑战,同时受到激进投资者要求增加利润的压力,并购活动因此增加。

Report analysis suggested that the rise in Mamp;A comes as big FMCG companies respond to the challenges they face in driving growth, as well as pressure from activist investors to increase margins.

中国市场的激烈竞争和低利润促使企业走向国际化,不仅增强了在本土市场的实力,也透过海外市场寻求新的增长,发掘新的供应和多元化产品的机会。

In China, high competition and lower margins are driving companies to internationalize, both to strengthen their domestic market capabilities as well as to seek new growth through distribution in overseas markets and new supply and product diversification opportunities.
